Yunnan People's Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. - 2022 Dragon Boat Festival Special Event
The Dragon Boat Festival involves sewing sachets filled with mugwort to ward off evil and welcome good fortune, which is an ancient custom of the Chinese nation. In order to promote excellent traditional Chinese culture, enhance national pride and recognition of folk culture, and further strengthen the cohesion among company employees while creating a joyful festive atmosphere, on the afternoon of June 1, 2022, the company organized all female employees to participate in a sachet-making activity. The company's executive director, Kuang Yufen, and deputy general manager, Kuang Aifen, participated in this event.
After the activity began, the teacher detailed the production process and requirements for handmade sachets. Everyone picked up colorful ropes, needles and threads, and mugwort bags nearby to start their sachet-making experience. During this time, everyone exchanged ideas and learned from each other while actively engaging in hands-on work. The atmosphere at the event was cheerful and harmonious.
Amidst laughter and joy, everyone moved their needles and threads, gradually creating exquisite, cute sachets filled with beautiful meanings. Looking at their handmade creations, each person's face radiated happiness and joy as they took photos with their works.
As a traditional Chinese festival, the Dragon Boat Festival embodies the national spirit and emotions of the Chinese people, carrying the cultural heritage and essence of Chinese thought. This activity not only allowed female colleagues to learn how to sew sachets by hand but also enabled them to experience the joy of making them and feel the strong festive atmosphere. It also helped everyone understand and appreciate traditional Chinese festival customs, which plays a significant role in cultivating good family values and building family harmony.
At the end of the activity, executive director Kuang Yufen stated that this was the first handmade craft activity organized by the company's women's federation. In the future, various activities will continue to be organized to enrich everyone's spiritual and cultural life, continuously enhance team spirit, fully mobilize each person's enthusiasm and initiative, allowing everyone to fully realize their value in the People's Electric family.
