In order to further implement the spirit of group reform, expand and standardize the construction of women's federations in new fields and new groups, and open a new chapter in the work of party building leading women's development in enterprises. On the afternoon of June 23, Yunnan People's Electric Power and Electrical Co., Ltd. held the first meeting of the Women's Representative Conference, attended by Cai Yingmei, Chairwoman of the Women's Federation of Kunming High-tech Zone, company executive director Kuang Yufen, party branch secretary Fan Xiaojun, and others.
The meeting opened with the solemn national anthem, and executive director Kuang Yufen delivered a speech first. She said that Yunnan People's Electric Power and Electrical Co., Ltd. has been established for twelve years, and now female employees play a key role in various positions. The establishment of the women's federation marks that the company's management is becoming more standardized and humanized, while also providing a better communication platform for all female employees in the enterprise. Everyone can care for each other and learn from one another, allowing the company's women to become idealistic, moral, capable, cultured, and disciplined new era women, contributing women's strength to the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
The company’s party branch secretary Fan Xiaojun gave a speech. He said that on the occasion of the centenary of the party, the company decided to establish a women's federation organization, which is not only a need for enterprise management but also a common wish of all female employees. He hopes that all representatives will embody a sense of ownership, adhere to principles of fairness and justice, work together to elect a good first leadership team for the women's federation, and play a good role as 'half the sky' in all fronts of the company's high-quality development.
Subsequently, the attending female representatives passed the election method for the Women's Federation of Yunnan People's Electric Power and Electrical Co., Ltd., announced the list of candidates, and after anonymous voting by all female representatives of the company, Kuang Aifen, Yin Yanli, Fang Mengsi, Li Weiwei, Li Mei, and others were elected as members of the executive committee of the women's federation. After discussions at the first executive committee meeting, Kuang Yufen was elected as the first chairperson of the Women's Federation of Yunnan People's Electric Power and Electrical Co., Ltd. The newly elected chairperson Kuang Yufen made a statement. She first thanked the company's party organization and her sisters for their trust and expressed her determination to closely follow the leadership of the women's federation in high-tech zones and the company's party branch, cherish this platform for serving female employees, fulfill her responsibilities diligently, and deliver satisfactory results to the company’s party organization and all female colleagues through practical actions.
Comrade Cai Yingmei, Chairwoman of Kunming High-tech Zone Women's Federation, congratulated on the establishment of the company's women's federation and on Kuang Yufen's successful election as chairperson along with other executive members. While fully affirming the achievements made in serving women at the company, she also expressed high expectations. She hopes that after establishing a women's federation in the company, it will fully leverage its advantages and roles to unify thoughts among all female employees in enterprises to listen to and follow the party's guidance, gather strength together, contribute women's strength; at grassroots levels, do more things that concern and satisfy female employees so that they can truly feel the warmth of their 'home' in the women's federation; in terms of advancement, create a sense of gain, happiness, and security for female employees in companies while fully playing its role as a bridge and link.
