Overview
The MNS type low-voltage complete switchgear (hereinafter referred to as low-voltage switchgear) is a product re-registered by our company, which combines the development trend of low-voltage complete switchgear in China, with improvements in the selection of electrical components and cabinet structure. The electrical and mechanical performance of this product meets the technical requirements of the original MNS product.
This low-voltage switchgear is suitable for AC 50-60HZ, rated working voltage of 660V and below power systems, used for power generation, transmission, distribution. In addition to general land use, it can also be used in offshore oil drilling platforms and nuclear power plants after special treatment. This low-voltage switchgear complies with IEC439, VDE0660 Part 5, GB7251-87 "Low Voltage Complete Switchgear" standards and JB/T9661 "Low Voltage Withdrawable Complete Switchgear" industry standards.
Operating Environment
· Surrounding air: temperature not exceeding +40℃, not lower than -5℃. The average temperature within 24 hours must not exceed +35℃.
· Applicable type: indoor
· Altitude: 2000m
· Surrounding air relative humidity: not exceeding 50% when the maximum temperature is +40℃; at lower temperatures, a higher relative humidity is allowed (e.g., 90% at +20℃). It is allowed to transport and store under temperature conditions of -25℃ to +50℃, and allowed for a maximum temperature of +70℃ for 24 hours.
· Seismic intensity: level 9
Structural Features
· The withdrawable MCC has five standard sizes of drawers: 8E/4, 8E/2, 8E, 16E, and 24E. Among them, the structures of the drawers 8E/4 and 8E/2 are made of molded flame-retardant plastic and aluminum alloy materials (4 pieces of 8E/4 or 2 pieces of 8E/2 make up one height interval of 8E). The total height of the functional unit compartment is 72E.
· Five standard sizes of drawers generally have 16 secondary isolation contacts. If needed, except for the 8E/4 drawer, the other four types can be increased to 32 contacts. Each static contact connection terminal can connect three wires simultaneously. The manufacturer provides an appropriate amount of accessories and cold-rolled pliers with the product.
· Through the operation procedure of the mechanical interlocking device, the drawer can only be moved when all main circuit auxiliary circuits are disconnected. The mechanical interlocking device allows the drawer to have moving position, breaking position, and separating position, marked with corresponding symbols. The operating handle on the mechanical interlocking device and the operating handle of the main circuit breaker can be locked simultaneously by three padlocks.
· Movable Motor Control Center and Small Current Power Distribution Center (hereinafter referred to as movable MCC)
· The cabinet structure characteristics of movable MCC are the same as those in clause (a) and (b) of section 4.2.
· The functional unit is designed as a movable structure; the connection between the functional unit and vertical busbar uses primary isolation contacts. Even if the connected circuit is live, it can be completely removed and returned to its position without any issues. The other end has a fixed structure.
· The functional units of movable MCC are available in sizes: 3E, 6E, 8E, 16E, 24E, 32E, and 40E compartments; total height is also 72E.
Bus System
Horizontal busbars (L1, L2, L3) are installed in an independent bus compartment at the back of the cabinet. There are two selectable installation positions: at one-third or two-thirds height of the cabinet. Busbars can be installed at either upper or lower positions or both sets can be installed simultaneously. Each phase busbar consists of either two, four or eight parallel busbars with cross-sections available in six types: 10*30*2, 10*60*2, 10*80*2, 10*60*4,10*80*2 and10*60*4*2.
The vertical busbar is an L-shaped copper busbar with dimensions of 50*30*5. It is embedded in a functional wall made from flame-retardant plastic; the protection level for live parts reaches IP20.
Neutral line (N line) and protective grounding line (PE line). The neutral busbar and protective grounding busbar are installed parallelly in the functional unit compartment vertically mounted in the cable room. If insulated from each other by insulators, N line and PE line are used separately; if short-circuited by conductors between them, it becomes PENXG line.
Protective Grounding System
The protective circuit of this switchgear consists of a separately installed PE line (or PEN line) that runs through the entire arrangement length and conductive metal structural components. Except for external doors and sealing plates, all other metal structural components are galvanized. Connection points in the structure are carefully designed to withstand certain short-circuit currents.
Auxiliary Circuit Cable Trench
An auxiliary circuit cable trench is installed at the top of the functional unit compartment to accommodate inter-cabinet connection wires and common power supply lines.
