On the morning of March 31, 2020, Li Jiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Yunnan Provincial Political Consultative Conference, along with Zhang Rongming, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, Gao Tiansen, Director of the Economic and Agricultural Rural Committee of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, and other leaders, visited Yunnan People's Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. for an on-site investigation. Zheng Nannan, President of the Yunnan Women Entrepreneurs Association, and relevant representatives from the association accompanied them. The company's Chairman Zhang Jianjun, Executive Director Kuang Yufen, and Executive Vice President Zhang Peng received them and introduced the company's resumption of work and production situation.
After listening to reports from Chairman Zhang Jianjun and Executive Director Kuang Yufen on the company's development and resumption of work and production, Chairman Li Jiang fully affirmed the development of Yunnan People's Electric Power. He also highly praised the company's various prevention and control measures during the pandemic and its charitable actions in support of pandemic prevention efforts.
Chairman Li Jiang emphasized: "Enterprises should meet domestic demand and develop domestic markets while making medium- to long-term plans. They should continuously expand their scale through means such as going public." Regarding Yunnan People's Electric Power's current overseas investment situation, Chairman Li Jiang also expressed full affirmation, while emphasizing: "As a company that has already 'gone out', it should actively respond to the national 'Belt and Road' policy. The future overseas market should not only target South Asia and Southeast Asia but also aim at countries around the Indian Ocean, striving to promote overseas market development and layout."
In response to the current low rate of resumption of work and production in enterprises, Chairman Li Jiang also provided relevant suggestions: "I hope enterprises can 'walk on two legs', actively connect with government departments at all levels both inside and outside the province to ensure key personnel return to work while also expanding recruitment channels to address shortages in ordinary positions nearby."
A year's plan starts in spring; spring nurtures hope and carries dreams. Although affected by the pandemic, various works at Yunnan People's Electric Power have been stagnant for nearly two months, and enterprise development faces some difficulties. However, Executive Director Kuang Yufen stated: "We are ready to go; in the coming time, we will definitely invest ourselves with even greater enthusiasm and dedication into our upcoming work to achieve our goals for the new year."
After the research symposium, Chairman Zhang Jianjun and Executive Director Kuang Yufen accompanied leaders to visit the production workshop to observe specific conditions regarding resumption of work and production, as well as understand product manufacturing processes. Chairman Li Jiang highly praised and affirmed Yunnan People's Electric Power's production environment, working conditions, and employee quality. He believes that under the correct leadership of the company’s management team and with joint efforts from all employees, Yunnan People's Electric Power will surely achieve greater development and success.
After the investigation concluded, Executive Director Kuang Yufen once again expressed gratitude to all leaders for visiting the company on this beautiful spring day for guidance. The concern and support from various levels of government and leaders have further boosted the confidence and motivation for orderly resumption of work and production. It is believed that with leaders' care and support, as well as strong leadership from all levels of government with scientific arrangements, Yunnan People's Electric Power will surely overcome this difficulty smoothly and fully restore normal production and operations. All employees will continue with a more determined belief, greater enthusiasm, and a more pragmatic style to work diligently in their respective roles while continuously standardizing management, improving capacity, reducing costs, increasing efficiency, providing higher quality products and services for our customers, allowing Yunnan People's Electric Power's brand to fully expand beyond Southwest China to nationwide and worldwide.
