1. Explanation
Yunnan Jiayan Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. was entrusted by Yunnan People's Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. to carry out the environmental impact assessment work for the metal surface treatment and transformer production expansion project on October 8, 2022. In accordance with national and local regulations, public participation in the environmental impact assessment is being conducted to promote effective environmental protection work for this project.

(5) Project Construction Content: A new metal surface treatment workshop and transformer casting workshop will be added within the existing transformer production workshop in the factory area. The metal surface treatment will use a tin plating process, and the transformers will be cast with resin.

1. Overview of Existing Projects: There is a one-story transformer production plant, a one-story spray painting workshop, a 17-story office building, a 17-story shift dormitory building, and auxiliary facilities; currently producing 2000 transformers, 3000 environmentally friendly medium-voltage gas-insulated switchgear, and 720 transformers annually.
2. Main Environmental Protection Measures: For welding smoke dust, there are 5 mobile fume hoods + dust purifiers; for casting baking and vacuum casting exhaust gas, there are flue gas collection pipes + activated carbon adsorption devices + exhaust pipes; for spray dust and exhaust gas, integrated equipment is used with complete sealing, spray dust filter cartridges + activated carbon adsorption devices + exhaust pipes; exhaust gas from the spray painting workshop is treated through a closed spray painting room + two-stage activated carbon series adsorption (95%) + exhaust pipes; domestic sewage is treated through a septic tank before being discharged into the park's sewage pipeline; production wastewater is recycled and not discharged; general solid waste is collected and sold externally, hazardous waste is collected and temporarily stored before being regularly disposed of by qualified units.
